Se o relacionamento entre as pessoas é algo complexo, o que dizer do relacionamento entre irmãos? Por um lado: longas conversas, companheirismo, cumplicidade... Por outro: desentendimentos, rivalidade, indiferença, intrigas… Acontece nas melhores famílias. Irmão(ã) não se escolhe, como ocorre com amigo(a). Talvez esse seja o maior motivo de o relacionamento entre irmãos ser um campo tão fértil para emoções e sentimentos diversos e contrastantes entre si.

If the relationship between people is something complex, what about the relationship between siblings? On the one hand: long conversations, companionship, complicity... On the other hand: disagreements, rivalry, indifference, intrigues... It happens in the best families. Siblings are not chosen, just as friends are. Perhaps this is the main reason why the relationship between siblings is such a fertile field for diverse and contrasting emotions and feelings.
